Chris Martin, Soultype 5: “Expression of the Soul” Series

Chris Martin, lead singer of the band Coldplay, is a Soultype 5.  In this performance, we see him initiate movement from the ST 5 Movement Center at the top of the head,  and position himself in the ST 5 Posture of Strength – bent over at the waist with the top of his head forward.  To be strong, a person of a particular Soultype will naturally assume the Posture of Strength for that Soultype.  It is remarkable to see Chris do this over and over again as part of his performance.

Another way for Soultype 5s to be strong is to “connect up” – stretch through their spines and reach the top of their head toward the heavens.  They will often gesture upward as part of this expression of strength.  Chris demonstrates these ST 5 characteristics frequently.

Because of their movement and connection upward, ST 5s can be very light on their feet and loose in their joints.  We can see the joy that Chris finds in expressing his soul as he moves so freely and brings his soul to the song.

While this performance is a particularly good example of very consistent, extended Soultype 5 movement and energy, there are many more videos of Chris Martin and Coldplay on YouTube in which you can see him expressing his Soultype 5 energy with similar movements.

So nice to see a 5 let rip!! He also showed his 360 degree awareness, turning round and round and walking backwards! I also sensed he was acutely aware of the words he was singing. He was so clearly totally in his element.
